Armada is delighted to bring proven geothermal technology to support the energy transition industry in Indonesia. GreenFire's GreenLoop™ is an Advanced Geothermal System (AGS) that provides versatile solutions for geothermal power generation, direct thermal use, and industrial applications.
GreenLoop™ technology consists of two key components: GreenLoop Modeling and GreenLoop Designs. GreenLoop Modeling evaluates geothermal resource potential and models closed-loop designs to find the optimal configuration. GreenLoop Designs are the physical attributes of the closed-loop system, such as well depth, pipe architecture, material specifications, and choice of working fluid.
GreenLoop Modeling
GreenLoop Modeling is a comprehensive system that evaluates geothermal resources, optimizes closed-loop designs, and assesses the techno-economic feasibility of projects. It uses proprietary modeling techniques to analyze geothermal wells, resources, and infrastructure, enhancing energy potential through simulations and 3D models, aided by GreenFire Energy's global geothermal database.
GreenLoop Designs
GreenLoop Designs are customized implementations of the GreenLoop architecture, tailored to specific geothermal resources and customer goals for power generation, direct use, or industrial applications.
GreenLoop designs feature a Downbore Heat Exchanger (DBHX), which can be configured in specific architectures (e.g., coaxial, multilateral) and utilize different working fluids (e.g., sCO2, water). The DBHX absorbs heat from the geothermal resource, with the option of using a Surface Heat Exchanger (SHX) to remove non-condensable gases. GreenFire Energy's patented Steam GreenLoop Design and 2-Phase GreenLoop Design are specialized for steam-dominated and 2-phase geothermal resources, capturing latent heat through insulated coaxial DBHX systems for efficient energy transport to the surface.
